Gwangju National Museum

Among the more than 1,000 items on display here are relics from the Paleolithic age through the Baekje period, pieces from Buddhist temples, and pottery from the Honam region. One of the highlights of the museum's collection is an assortment of 14th-century Chinese ceramics from a shipwreck discovered in 1975.
