수정 요망우정박물관은 1884년 근대행정의 효시인 우정업무가 이 땅에서 시작한 것을 기념하기 위해 지난 1938년에 체신박물관으로 처음 문을 연 후 1985년 우정박물관으로 명칭을 변경하여 서울중앙우체국 안에 전시장을 확보 운영해 왔으나 서울중앙우체국 개축공사로 인하여 찬안 지식경제공원교육원으로 이전하게 되었습니다. 지식경제공무원교육원에 새로 구축한 우정박물관의 전시실에 대조선국 우정국 사무직제 장정 등 일반사료 540여점과 우리나라 최초의 우표인 문위우표등을 전시하였으며 우표류검색기를 통해 세계 각국의 우표류 7천여점을 열람할 수 있도록 하였습니다.
