수정 요망김춘수(1922~2004년) 생가는 통영시 동호동 남망산공원 입구에 위치한 동산약국 옆에 위치하고 있으며, 골목길 안쪽으로 조금 들어가면 옛날 김춘수 선생이 살았던 자리에 표석이 설치되어 있다. 현재 거주하는 사람이 있으나 옛 형태를 그대로 유지하고 있다. 2008년 3월에는 봉평동 옛 한려해상국립공원 동부사무소 4층에 ‘김춘수 선생 유품전시관’으로 ‘꽃의 시인’ 김춘수선생의 유품전시관을 개관하였다.
